Fintel Library recently purchased a subscription to Project MUSE, so your research basket just got packed with more goodies. What is Project MUSE? It’s an online database that allows Roanoke College students, staff and faculty access to over 300 full text multidisciplinary journals. Journals like Sewanee Review (the oldest continuously published literary quarterly in the country), Native Plants, and GLQ: A Journal of Lesbian and Gay Studies are just a few of the titles that are offered in Project MUSE.
Basically, Project MUSE is good for everybody; it has content that is useful for all your classes. The user interface is easy and pleasing to the eye, and it allows keyword searching, research area searching or browse specific journal titles. You can save your citations and export them to your bibliography software, or you can email yourself the citations in your preferred style.
So what are you waiting for? Check out Project MUSE before that paper is due on Monday.
