Roanoke College Experiential Learning at Fintel Library continues today

The Roanoke College Experiential Learning week began April 9, and will continue until Friday, April 12. This event will allow students to showcase their study abroad experiences, service-learning experiences, internships, creative/artistic work and research. Students from all disciplines will participate. Each evening will feature a key note speaker, and posters will be featured throughout the first floor of the Library. Please come by the Fintel Library and visit with these students. All events are free and open to the public.
Also, there will be drawings for Amazon gift cards every night and a drawing for an iPad Mini for those students attending at least 3 out of 4 events.

Events for Tuesday, April 9

6:00-6:30 pm- Social. Help yourself to drinks and snacks provided by the Office of Experiential Learning.

6:30-7:00 pm- Keynote Speaker Dr. Paul Handstedt, Roanoke College Professor, author of Hong Konged.

7:00-9:00 pm- Student Posters. Please roam throughout the first floor of the Library and stop to talk to students as they stand by their posters.

Events for Wednesday, April 10

6:00-6:30 pm- Social. Help yourself to drinks and snacks provided by the Office of Experiential Learning.

6:30-7:00 pm- Keynote Speaker Nathan Proutey, Roanoke College Alum, Peacebuilders Coordinator, West Center for Youth

7:00-9:00 pm- Student Posters. Please roam throughout the first floor of the Library and stop to talk to students as they stand by their posters.

Events for Thursday, April 11

6:00-6:30 pm- Social. Help yourself to drinks and snacks provided by the Office of Experiential Learning.

6:30-7:00 pm- Keynote Speaker Brittany Beheler, Roanoke College Alum, Corporate Recruiter, Advance Auto Parts

7:00-9:00 pm- Student Posters. Please roam throughout the first floor of the Library and stop to talk to students as they stand by their posters.

Events for Friday, April 12

6:00-6:30 pm- Social. Help yourself to drinks and snacks provided by the Office of Experiential Learning.

6:00-9:00 pm Student Posters. Please roam throughout the first floor of the Library and stop to talk to students as they stand by their posters.

6:00-9:00 pm Student Oral Presentations. Listen to students present their research and creative works in the basement of the Library. New presentations every 10 minutes.
