And in recognition of Black History Month, Roanoke College is hosting Joel Gill, an alumnus and comic book style author, who will share his experiences writing and gathering information for his book “Strange Fruit: Uncelebrated Narratives from Black History.” Gill is not only a successful author- he is the associate dean of student affairs and chair of the Arts Foundation at New Hampshire Institute of Art.
Joel Gill’s talk, titled “28 Days is Not Enough” can be heard on Tuesday, February 10, at 7:30 pm in Colket’s Ballroom. You can get his graphic novel at Fintel Library.
